OTKRITIE Commercial Bank has been actively involved in the interbank market, performing Money Market and Forex transactions. By 2008 results, the number of banks-counterparties exceeded 250 credit institutions.

In order to optimize settlements and payments, the Bank has opened NOSTRO accounts in the first-class foreign banks, namely: Standard Chartered Bank PLc, Deutsche Bank AG , Commerzbank AG, Raiffeisen Zentralbank Oesterreich AG (Austria), Clearstream Banking (Luxemburg).

In the interbank and securities markets OTKRITIE Bank has been actively cooperating with such financial institutions as Credit Suisse (Switzerland), Standard Bank Plc (Great Britain), Raiffeisen Zentralbank Oesterreich AG (Austria) and many others.

At the beginning of 2009, the total size of credit lines opened in favor of OTKRITIE Bank exceeded USD 150 mln.

Trade finance

During implementation of the strategy on promotion of new products, OTKRITIE Commercial Bank pays a lot of attention to financing of export and import operations of the Bank clients, involving documentary instruments.

The most popular services in the area of trade finance are the financing of import, guarantee operations (including international guarantees) and stand-by letters of credit.

Due to increasing volume of the foreign trade operations of the Bank clients, the range of foreign partner-banks of OTKRITIE Commercial Bank has been consistently growing. Among them the following financial institutions: American Express Bank (USA), Commerzbank AG (Germany), VTB Bank (Deutschland) AG (Germany), Kazkommerzbank (Kazakhstan), Bank TuranAlem (Kazakhstan) and many others.

In 2008 the Bank is planning to obtain accreditation with such export credit agencies (ECA) as Euler-HERMES (Germany), SACE (Italy), FinnVera (Finland) and COFACE (France).
