The “National Rating Agency” has assigned the Bank an individual credit rating A+ which stands for high creditworthiness, first level.

According to rating lists composed by business magazines at present OTKRITIE Commercial Bank ranks among the 100 largest banks of Russia in terms of shareholders’ equity and total assets. As of January 1, 2009 OTKRITIE Commercial Bank’s net assets amounted to 31.176 bln rubles (according to published financial statements).

In 2007 the Bank won the annual “Finance” award as the “Breakthrough of the year”.

In 2004 OTKRITIE Commercial Bank was named the “Bank of the Year” as a prize-winner of the annual national award “Company of the Year” set up by the “RosBusinessConsulting” information agency.

Business Activities

OTKRITIE Commercial Bank pays equal attention to all the business activities concentrating on improving the quality of its services as well as developing up-to-date products for its clients.

As for the Bank’s corporate clients, there is a range of short-term and long-term deposits allowing an optimum allocation of funds in terms of security and profitability. OTKRITIE Commercial Bank offers all the products and services generally available for corporate clients, i.e. settlement and cash services, lending, leasing, factoring, project finance, documentary operations, salary projects, transactions in stock and bond markets, collection operations. There is a call-center at the Bank for corporate clients’ customer support. To improve the quality of banking a Distant Banking System has been designed including such services as “Bank-Client”, “Internet-Client”, “Telephone-Client” and protected e-mail “Mail-PRO Client”.

The Bank works with small- and medium-sized enterprises. As of January 1, 2009 the credit portfolio for small- and medium-sized enterprises amounted to approximately 1.6 bln. rubles. Developing the investment business the Bank is actively present on the stock market conducting a wide range of transactions. OTKRITIE Commercial Bank provides its clients with an access to Russian leading trading floors. Impeccable reputation, broad experience and a large number of permanent counterparties allow both building and efficiently managing its own security portfolio and recommending an optimum portfolio strategy to its clients.

There is a wide range of services available for individual clients including deposits, loans, plastic cards, safety vaults and mutual fund shares designed with a purpose of solving a variety of tasks. Plastic cards issued by OTKRITIE Commercial Bank have a number of advantages being not only a means of payment but also a convenient credit facility and a profitable deposit. In March 2009 the Bank renewed its range of deposits for individual clients as part of the retail business development strategy. Taking into account the economic environment the Bank offers attractive interest rates on deposits: up to 17% according to the fee schedule. The Bank has launched a new autoloan program which is now the Bank’s principal credit product put on the market of banking services for individual clients as part of the new retail strategy. Taking advantage of the most up-to-date banking technologies the Bank guarantees high-quality services to its clients. As of today the Bank is equipped with a distant servicing system including Internet banking, Call-center, SMS-info, payments through ATMs. OTKRITIE Commercial Bank issues Visa Platinum cards for the Bank’s most demanding clients. Moreover, the Bank has developed and successfully implemented a unique system of financial services for wealthy clients which combines the greatest achievements and know-how of the world financial system, on the one hand, and a deep understanding of the Russian financial, legal and tax environment on the other hand. It guarantees not only efficient wealth management but also stable future growth. OTKRITIE Commercial Bank has also joined the “Vantage Club” program, a system of privileges for premium cardholders designed for VIP-clients of both Russian and foreign largest banks. The OTKRITIE Commercial Bank is constantly extending the range of services available for its cardholders. In 2008 the Bank introduced a unique service to its clients namely the right to link a Visa plastic card to a Yandex.Money account. It enables OTKRITIE Commercial Bank’s clients holding a Visa card to credit their Yandex.Money account on-line by remitting funds from their card account or vice versa. In 2008 OTKRITIE Commercial Bank clients performed nearly 33500 remittance transactions from their card accounts to Yandex.Money accounts and the other way round. The amount of funds remitted between Yandex.Money and OTKRITIE Commercial Bank plastic cards throughout the year exceeded 200 million rubles. OTKRITIE Commercial Bank offers to its clients joint bank cards issued in cooperation with the “Transaero” airline and the Visa International payment system. Visa Classic and Visa Gold cardholders receive points for each flight with the “Transaero” airline as well as for purchases made with a plastic card. Besides that the card can combine deposit and credit facilities. Moreover, OTKRITIE Commercial Bank offers a partnership program titled DISCO and based on a discounting system that was in operation a few years ago. All OTKRITIE Commercial Bank cardholders are entitled to a discount wherever a DISCO symbol is valid. As of today more than 300 companies have joined this program.

OTKRITIE Commercial Bank is continuously expanding its presence in Russia with representative offices in a number of regions of key economic importance.

Moscow

In January 2009 an opening ceremony of a new OTKRITIE Commercial Bank branch “Novyi Arbat” took place. This is the first joint office of the OTKRITIE Commercial Bank and the OTKRITIE Financial Corporation. At present the Moscow network comprises 25 branches (including the headquarters). The number of ATMs amounts to 132.

Regions

At present there are regional branches of OTKRITIE Commercial Bank operating in Saratov, Samara, Tolyatti, Novosibirsk, Tula, Nelidovo, Novomoskovsk, Tver, Penza, Engels, Balakovo, Kamyshin. In March 2008 the “Saratovskyi” branch of OTKRITIE Commercial Bank won the regional competition “Investor of the Year” as “Investor of the Year in Financial Services”. The competition is held annually by The Investment Policy Ministry of the Saratov region. It is aimed to attract investors, boosting the investment attractiveness of the region as well as distinguishing those who contribute most significantly to the social and economic development of the region.

OTKRITIE Commercial Bank is a member of the Association of Russian Banks (the ARB) and the Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication (SWIFT).

• Participant of the currency and stock market sections of the Stock Exchange of St. Petersburg, St. Petersburg Interbank Currency exchange, Electronic trading system of the MICEX, and a member of the OAO “RTS”.

International standards

Since 2003 the Bank’s compliance with the international accounting standards has been controlled by the Ernst&Young auditing company, one of the leading service providers for companies in the financial industry. Such control ensures the Bank’s transparency for foreign investors.

Social activities

OTKRITIE Commercial Bank feels obliged to help and support people in a desperate situation. Therefore the Bank organizes regularly social and cultural events both in Moscow and in the regions. A large portion of the Bank’s charitable activities is related to children. In 2006 three playing grounds were equipped in Saratov and a feast for children was organized. In May 2007 a play ground in Engels was opened, and on September 2, 2007 another one in Penza. Our initiative in this field comes from the bottom of our heart as we do it if our own free will.
